Admission Notification for Academic Year 2021-22
NRI (Non Resident Indians), FN (Foreign Nationals), PIO (Persons of
Indian Origin) and CIWGC (Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries)
Intake: 25 seats for NRI and 76 (15% of
510 seats on supernumerary basic as approved by AICTE) seats for
FN/PIO/CIWGC.

Students sponsored by Indian Council for Cultural Relation
(ICCR) or as Government of Indian nominee shall be
included within the ceiling of 76 seats created on supernumerary basis.
Qualification:
1. Educational
Qualification: A pass in H.Sc. (Academic) examination
conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil
Nadu or any other equivalent examination thereto, with a minimum of 45% marks
(40% marks for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC/ST candidates) in aggregates, in the
prescribed subjects, namely, Mathematics, Physics, and any one of the following
optional subjects: Chemistry/biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology (botany
& Zoology).
2. Age Limit: Upper: 21 years as on
01.07.2021. Lower: Nil.
3. NRI candidates need
not have JEE Score.
4. The Children of
Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) shall be treated on par with the
resident citizen of India. In addition to the above required educational
qualifications they should have a valid JEE (Main) score card and shall pay the
fee and other fees as prescribed below.
5. Passport number with
validity/ Resident permit/ Registration and VISA details with validity as to be
provided.
6. If more number of
applications are received than the number of available seats, a merit list will
be prepared based on the marks secured in XII examination.
7. On the date of
provisional admission the entire prescribed fee should be paid immediately. In
case if any candidate fails to fulfil the academic requirements, then the
entire fee will be returned.
